Workpieces with "ears" or flanges: When bending one side, the folded edge on the other side hinders the normal entry of the bending knife and the lower die. Complex workpieces that require multiple consecutive bends: Conventional bending requires multiple repositioning and clamping, while the flap bending center can be automated in one go.
